SIMONE BUTINI – VIOLIN

Simone Butini studied violin with the Maestri  Moreno Volpini and Edoardo Perpich at the L. Cherubini Conservatory of Florence, graduating later at the P. Mascagni Conservatory of Livorno under the guidance of Maestro Domenico Pierini, first violin and shoulder of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino Theater. In 2006 he began a collaboration with the Orchestra of the Experimental Lyrical Theater of Spoleto, as the first of the second violins, working regularly in the lyrical-symphonic seasons until 2013. In the same year he performed with the Cameristi del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino. He was an active member of the Artemide ensemble until its dissolution, of the ensemble of sacred music Vocum Concentus of Florence; he also collaborates with the baroque ensemble Corte Sveva, directed by A. Perpich and he regularly performs in concert both as a soloist and in chamber ensembles. On November 30, 2011, within the review TRAIETTORIE LIBERATE, performs, together with Maestro Giacomo Granchi and the same author, the first performance of Miroir 4, composition of Maestro Daniele Lombardi for two violins and toy-piano. Since years he’s taking part in noteworthy productions of Camera: Concerto in duo with the pianist Francesca Maggini at the Italian Institute of Culture of Kartoum in November 2012; concert “A stage at the cinema” inside the Mittelfest 2014 with the ensemble Oneiron; Requiem by G. Verdi with the Southbank Sinphonia orchestra for the Anghiari 2015 season; concert “The Seasons by Vivaldi” solo violin Marco Fornaciari for the review in Chiesa di Santo Spirito 2016; Buxtehude Oratory “Membra Jesu nostro” in the concerts review in S. Felicita 2017. He is a violin teacher at the music school Il Trillo and teacher of musical education and instrument at the secondary schools of the first degree of the province of Florence. Currently his repertoire ranges from anticque  to contemporary music.
