The Florence Strings and Conducting Masterclass will take place at The Trillo School of Music and Art in Florence, located in a prestigious historic building in the heart of the city.

The string and conducting courses are open to musicians of all nationalities and age and aimed for advanced students and performers of international prestige. The participants will take part in lessons, masterclasses, and rehearsals with the festival orchestra.

On the final days of the masterclass, the instructors will select violin and cello soloists to perform the required concerto in central Florence. 

All conductors will be given the opportunity to perform in one of the 3 final concerts. String players are encouraged to bring solo works (unaccompanied or accompanied) as they will have the opportunity to perform their repertoire in the final concerts.

In addition to practice and lesson classrooms at the school, Il Trillo has access within the city to prestigious halls and historic churches for performances. The concerts are held in historical and artistic theaters in the city.

The enrollment fee will not be refunded in case of renunciation of participation in the masterclass by the candidate.

The program may be subject to variations and the management reserves the right to modify or cancel due to force majeure.

Accommodations:

The Il Trillo music school has agreements with some accommodation facilities, it will be the concern of the secretariat to send a list of partner hostels and hotels. The period in the city is considered high season, therefore we invite you to contact us as soon as possible.
