{"id":8255,"date":"2018-10-23T12:11:05","date_gmt":"2018-10-23T11:11:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.florencemusiciltrillo.com\/?p=8255"},"modified":"2018-10-23T12:11:05","modified_gmt":"2018-10-23T11:11:05","slug":"michelangelo-giaima-gagliano-piano","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.florencemusiciltrillo.com\/ko\/michelangelo-giaima-gagliano-piano\/","title":{"rendered":"MICHELANGELO GIAIMA GAGLIANO &#8211; PIANO"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-8256\" src=\"https:\/\/www.florencemusiciltrillo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/Michelangelo-Gagliano-Pianoforte-Classico.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"370\" height=\"370\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.florencemusiciltrillo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/Michelangelo-Gagliano-Pianoforte-Classico-66x66.jpg 66w, https:\/\/www.florencemusiciltrillo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/Michelangelo-Gagliano-Pianoforte-Classico-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.florencemusiciltrillo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/Michelangelo-Gagliano-Pianoforte-Classico-200x200.jpg 200w, https:\/\/www.florencemusiciltrillo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/Michelangelo-Gagliano-Pianoforte-Classico-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.florencemusiciltrillo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/Michelangelo-Gagliano-Pianoforte-Classico.jpg 370w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 370px) 100vw, 370px\" \/>Michelangelo Giaime Gagliano received his Piano Diploma with full marks summa cum laude from the Conservatory of Music in Florence, Italy.<br \/>\nAfter that, Michelangelo Giaime Gagliano continued his studies in Composition and received his Diploma in Conducting.<br \/>\nIn Florence and Vienna, Michelangelo Giaime Gagliano studied with Orazio Frugoni, Giuseppe Fricelli, Rolando Russo and Bruno Canino; Franco Cioci, Salvatore Sciarrino Romano Pezzati; Cesare Orselli; Jorma Panula, Gianluigi Gelmetti, Giuseppe Lanzetta, and Carlo Maria Giulini.<br \/>\nMichelangelo Giaime Gagliano<br \/>\nMichelangelo Giaime Gagliano attended courses in conducting at the Musikhochschule in Vienna given by Leopold Hager, and at the Chigiana Academy in Siena by Gianluigi Gelmetti.<br \/>\nIn 1991, Michelangelo Giaime Gagliano attended courses on contemporary music given by Maurizio Pollini at the Fiesole School of Music.<br \/>\nMichelangelo Giaime Gagliano participated in national and international competitions and always classified in the top three (Friedrich Chopin International Competition\u2013 Rome, Italy, the Agor\u00e0 Competition in Rome).<br \/>\nMichelangelo Giaime Gagliano received the prestigious ACUSIF Prize, reserved for distinguished Sicilian concert artists.<br \/>\nMichelangelo Giaime Gagliano has performed as a soloist and in chamber ensembles with soloists from the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino Orchestra and Chorus, Cameristi Fiorentini, the Harmonia Cantata Choir of Florence, with prestigious musical artists, including Denia Mazzola Gavazzeni, Rolando Panerai, Leonardo De Lisi, Filippo Adami, Eva Mei, Angelo Fiore and Anne Gjevang; Francesco Filidei, Yehezkel Yerushalmi, Renzo Pelli, Riccardo Crocilla, Alessandro Perpich, and Marco Salvatori Alda Dalle Lucche, Paola Gassman, Michele Placido, Athina Cenci, Ugo Pagliai, Luca Barbareschi, Milena Vukotic, Gennaro Cannavacciuolo, Lucia Poli, Valentina Chico, and Angelo Savelli.<br \/>\nIn 1988, Michelangelo Giaime Gagliano founded the Festival \u201cEstate Regina\u201d in Montecatini Terme.<br \/>\nDuring the fourteenth edition of the \u201cEstate Regina\u201d Festival, Michelangelo Giaime Gagliano has cooperated with the Orchestra, Chorus and Ballet of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, the National Orchestra of Venezuela, the Regional Orchestra of Tuscany, as well as conductors and soloists such as Zubin Mehta, Roberto Abbado, Uto Ughi, Shlomo Mintz, Leonidas Kavakos, Daniel Oren, Piero Bellugi, Ivor Bolton, Julia Jones, Luciano Berio, Salvatore Sciarrino, Andrea Lucchesini, Salvatore Accardo, David Helfgott, Bruno Canino, Kristian Eggen, Stefano Bollani, and Christian Lindberg.<br \/>\nOn several occasions, Michelangelo Giaime Gagliano has conducted the Orchestra Regina- soloists of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, the Orchestra of the Conservatory of Florence.<br \/>\nMichelangelo Giaime Gagliano has been the artistic director of the theatre and music festival &#8220;Nights at Villa Garzoni&#8221; at Villa Garzoni in Collodi in collaboration with the &#8220;Carlo Collodi&#8221; National Foundation with the programming of significant musical and theatrical events.<br \/>\nTogether with Giuseppe Lanzetta, Michelangelo Giaime Gagliano is the co-artistic director of the festival &#8220;Musica al Ponte&#8221; in the beautiful Auditorium of Santo Stefano al Ponte.<br \/>\nMichelangelo Giaime Gagliano is the assistant to Maestro Giuseppe Lanzetta. He was invited by UCD (University College Dublin) School of Music (Ireland) to hold recitals of Italian Romantic piano repertoire.<br \/>\nMichelangelo Giaime Gagliano was invited by Feng Chia University, Huang Kuagn University, and Chung Shan Hall in Taichung (Taiwan) to hold recitals and master classes as a pianist and conductor in prestigious theatres and concert halls. He teaches musical education and piano in public schools. Michelangelo Giaime Gagliano carried out laboratories in Musicology and Music history at the Faculty of Education of the Florence University.
